About

The Kollel

Kollel Shaarei Horaah has created a challenging program of in-depth halachic study in the city of Beitar in Eretz Yisrael. The Kollel follows a specially-designed course of study to develop mastery of halachic topics. Beginning with the Gemara and Rishonim, including the Tur, Beis Yosef, and Shulchan Aruch, we culminate with the Acharonim until today’s Poskim. This learning style emphasizes the connection between the logic of the Gemara and its application to the practical halachah. Our goal is to produce future Rabbonim and Poskim who will be qualified to rule even on issues not mentioned explicitly in earlier works.
